Can the Questions be Answered??

First of all, my thoughts and prayers to those people and their families who lost their lives in the recent tragedy at the hokie land. I just cant imagine someone with an educational background as the person involved was, could do something very putrid. Its unbelievable and something that cannot be rationalized, however you think.

I add that the person sinned himself more by sending information/videos to the media, thereby reaching the public and agitating further the people directly or indirectly involved in the tragedy.

A severe debate has ensued thereafter regarding the gun control, security, mental illness and what not...and I just cant see them coming up with a solution at the earliest.
When a person is a loner, its almost next to impossible to figure the characteristics of a person. Based on my personal experience, as inquisitive as I could be at times, I could not figure out a certain individual, the reason for their actions and never ever it would cross in my mind that they could be harmful to other individuals.

Its entirely debatable whether watching horror movies, shooting/thriller movies playing killing/shooting video games..etc could be a factor or not.
Obviously I am not going to agree with that as I do pretty much all of the above things and just forget about it later..But the minds are different and effects it can have on them are going to be different as well...

so it just might be interesting to see what sort of actions the government would take....

Pleasantly Surprised

March-April is that time of the year in US, where there are no engaging sporting or other events in the US that appeal to me. However this year, I thought world cup will fill the void, but rather disappointingly it left a bigger one to the Indian Team.

Anyways, I reorganized my schedule and wanted to make this time very constructive and inventive in terms of career as well as personal life.

I started volunteering tasks at work, experimented several new technologies/projects, solved some critical security issues that would otherwise have gone unnoticed and tried to keep myself very active. (as you can see..havent written a blog for a while..)

Away from work, apart from regular gym and baddy, started taking tennis lessons and have been working on my game skills and fitness level a bit. After a few listless performance with the bat, I have found my batting form as well, especially the cover drives, and eagerly looking forward to our own cricket season here.

Global warming confined me at home for the past 3 weeks or so and as a result of which, have been experimenting with new xbox games and it took us a laborious 20+ attempts to clear a level from the game Black Hawk Down that was very very challenging. I was happy with the strength of our group and they showed a lot of patience to overcome the obstacle. The game not only taught me patience, but gave me a lesson on team management, strategies..etc and I really really enjoyed finishing the task.

Chatting/meeting with friends over a cup of coffee to discuss different cultures, traveling, occasional movies and even catching up with some episodes of planet earth(very surprisingly)..etc has kept me really busy for the past month or so that I am barely sleeping for more than 6 hrs a day.

I just hope this phantasmagorical trend persists and I continue to explore new avenues...
